AUDITOR’S OFFICE PROVIDES WEBSITE SERVICE
Geauga Connected is a Helpful Resource for Political Subdivisions
CHARDON, OHIO, November 7, 2024 – Geauga County Auditor Charles E. Walder informs the public about an initiative provided by Geauga County’s Automatic Data Processing (“ADP”) Center, called Geauga Connected. By law, Auditor Walder is the Administrator of Geauga County’s ADP Center, which handles the County’s IT services.
“Geauga Connected is a great service that makes affordable, manageable, and feature-packed websites available to eligible political subdivisions and other public entities in Geauga County,” said Auditor Walder. “With Geauga Connected, subdivisions have the opportunity to create tailored, modern websites with the goal of helping residents stay connected and informed.”
Geauga Connected is administered by ADP, and political subdivisions may enter into an agreement with ADP to obtain services under ADP’s standard price list. From there, a local Geauga County website developer guides the rest of the process of building the subdivision a new website. Important website assets, such as Advanced Search, Calendar of Events, Business/Organization Directory, Employee Portal, and Surveys are possible through Geauga Connected.
“Transparency and accessibility are keys to accountable government, and the best way for us to fight fraud and public corruption,” said Auditor Walder. “With Geauga Connected, ADP is here to help connect local governments with their residents at an affordable price and make government more transparent for the people we serve.”
For more information, please contact ADP Chief Deputy Administrator Frank Antenucci by email at [email protected] or phone (440) 279-1993. Geauga County political subdivisions may request this service by filling out the form on www.geaugaconnected.com or by calling ADP at (440) 279-1345.
