CONVEYANCE FEES PERFORMANCE 2021 YTD
Over $2.4 Million in Conveyance Fees for Geauga County
CHARDON, OHIO – December 13th, 2021 – Geauga County Auditor Charles E. Walder announces the November 2021 conveyance fees totals for Geauga County. In the context of real estate, conveyance fees cover administrative processing of real estate transactions. The total in conveyance fees year to date as of November, 2021 is $2,413,540.70.
“We have a very active property market in Geauga County,” Auditor Walder said. “There is a larger increase in buying, selling, and transferring property than in the last two years.”
The overall year-to-date comparison from 2020 to 2021 shows 2021 up 12.24%, or $263,107.80. The overall year-to-date comparison from 2019 to 2021 shows 2021 up 58.54%, or $891,218.40.
