OHIO AUDITOR OF STATE VISITS AUDITOR WALDER
CHARDON, OHIO – April 1, 2022 –Geauga County Auditor Charles E. Walder thanks Ohio Auditor of State Keith Faber for visiting the Geauga County Auditor’s Office.
Auditor Faber is Ohio’s chief compliance officer, and his Office works to make Ohio’s government “more efficient, effective, and transparent by placing checks and balances on state and local governments for taxpayers.”
“Auditors are a vital safeguard protecting your public funds,” Auditor Walder said. “Auditor Faber and I take our roles very seriously.”
At their meeting, Auditor Faber and Auditor Walder discussed responsible county fiscal practices and cybersecurity.
“I would like to thank Auditor Faber for visiting our office today,” Auditor Walder said. “Geauga County is best served when government officials work together.”
