VertiGIS Names REALink 2.0 as “Mapplication of the Month”

CHARDON, OHIO—May 12, 2026—Geauga County Auditor Charles E. Walder is pleased to announce that his Office has been recognized in the VertiGIS Studio Newsletter as the “Mapplication of the Month” for April, 2026. VertiGIS is a leading provider of spatial asset management and geographic information systems (GIS). VertiGIS specifically applauded Auditor Walder’s GIS Real Estate and Appraisal application, REALink 2.0.

“Our goal was to make complex geospatial data accessible and actionable for the public,” Auditor Walder said. “With REALink 2.0, we achieved a custom, user-friendly interface that dramatically improved efficiency and ease of use for our constituents.”

REALink 2.0 was recently updated. It helps users find property information in Geauga County by utilizing an interactive map or searching by parcel number, address, or owner name.

“[REALink 2.0] now offers enhanced flexibility and functionality, as it was designed for use on both desktop and with mobile devices,” VertiGIS stated. “This application is used both by the public and by Geauga County’s Real Estate and Appraisal teams, as well as over twenty County and Township Offices in their day-to-day workflows.”
